ENTRE A RELIGIOSIDADE E A VIOLÊNCIA: UMA LEITURA DAS HQs FINISSECULARES

Resumo

ABSTRACT – It is observed that the endofthecentury narrative, adopting varied forms and the most diverse languages, slides from traditional stories towards postmodern ones, ranging from the old linear plot to the postmodern and interactive RPG and/or surfing Internet hypertext. These new languages perform new placements of the literary and impel to a network of meanings that express men´s worries in the hectic postmodern time rhythm. In the impossibility of drawing conclusions about this process of desacralization of the literature , we prefer to restrain our analysis to one of these manifestations, namely comic strips and, within them, we prefer to center the focus of attention on two recurrent facts: religiosity and violence.
