Resumo

ABSTRACT – The work searches to identify, in different discipline fields, some concepts and ideas that can be useful for the researches and the reflection about the collective identities from local and regional character and their relationship with the cultural memory. From this perspective, the formulations  that consider the memory and the identity as cultural constructions that result on conflicts and negotiations between the subjects and social groups are stood out. From this way, the work intends to contribute for the recovery effort and the cultural past analysis of the communities from the south of Minas Gerais that has been undertaking by the researchers linked to the Master's degree in Letters from UNINCOR of Três Corações (MG).
