Resumo

ABSTRACT – The purpose of this paper is to show that in the tale "Fita Verde no cabelo", Guimarães Rosa takes hold of the traditional fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood” in order to explore existential questions such as the struggle between life and death, the passage from naivety to knowledge and man’s eternal perplexity before his fundamental problems.
